Your mission

As a Senior Electrical Engineer at planqc you will collaborate with leading scientists and experts in quantum technology. In close collaboration with quantum, software, and mechanical engineers you will design and build devices for our full-stack product of our quantum computers for our customers.
As part of our team you will:

Module Leadership: Take charge of key electronic modules in our quantum computer
System Integration: Integrate and optimize your modules with the overall system.
Project Rotation: Take on new projects after successful integration.
Collaboration: Work with quantum, mechanical and software engineering teams for development and implementation.
Ongoing Learning: Keep up with the latest physics advancements of our platform to improve system performance.

Your profile

BSc or higher in Electr. Engineering or a related field
5+ years of practical experience delivering hardware
Design experience in 3 or more of the following areas: analog electronics/RF electronics, digital electronics, power electronics.
Ability to specify systems independently and engage with stake holders
Record of mentoring junior engineers

Als Senior Electrical Engineer bei planqc arbeitest Du mit führenden Wissenschaftler:innen und Expert:innen der Quantentechnologie zusammen. In enger Kooperation mit Kolleg:innen aus den Bereichen Quantum, Software und Maschinenbau entwickelst und baust Du Geräte für unser Full-Stack-Produkt – Quantencomputer für unsere Kunden.

Deine Aufgaben bei uns:

Modul-Leitung: Du übernimmst die Verantwortung für wichtige elektronische Module in unserem Quantencomputer.
Systemintegration: Du integrierst und optimierst Deine Module im Gesamtsystem.
Projekt-Rotation: Nach erfolgreicher Integration übernimmst Du neue, spannende Projekte.
Kollaboration: Du arbeitest eng mit den Teams aus Quantum, Mechanical und Software Engineering zusammen.
Kontinuierliches Lernen: Du bleibst am Puls der neuesten physikalischen Entwicklungen unserer Plattform und verbesserst kontinuierlich die Systemleistung.

Dein Profil

BSc oder höher in Elektrotechnik oder einem verwandten Bereich
5+ Jahre praktische Erfahrung in der Entwicklung von Hardware
Erfahrung im Design in drei oder mehr der folgenden Bereiche: Analogelektronik / RF-Elektronik, Digitalelektronik, Leistungselektronik
Fähigkeit, Systeme eigenständig zu spezifizieren und mit Stakeholdern zusammenzuarbeiten
Erfahrung in der Betreuung von Junior Engineers
