Intro
Join the VÆRIDION R&D team as a Senior BMS Software Engineer, leading the development of software for propulsion battery management and power distribution in all-electric aircraft.
Tasks
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of embedded software for propulsion battery and power distribution from prototypes to future airworthy systems.
- Implement software development processes and toolchains in compliance with aviation standards and regulations.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in software development, focusing on embedded systems and real-time applications.
- Proven track record of designing and implementing software for safety-critical systems, preferably in aerospace or automotive industries.
- Strong proficiency in C/C++ programming languages and experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS).
- Experience with battery management systems, electric propulsion, power electronics, or related fields is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with aviation standards such as RTCA DO-178C and DO-254 is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Strong communication skills and ability to convey complex technical concepts to cross-functional teams.
- Fluent English language skills are essential; fluent German or other language would be beneficial.
