Intro
The Senior Associate Energy and Industry position at the European Climate Foundation in Berlin offers the exciting opportunity to contribute to the transition to a carbon-neutral society in Germany. The role involves developing strategies in the energy and industry sectors, managing grantmaking processes, conducting research and analysis, building networks, and coordinating with various teams within the organization. The ideal candidate should have 5-7 years of experience in a political environment, a strong understanding of German energy, climate, and/or industrial policy, strategic thinking skills, diplomatic abilities, and fluency in German and English.
Tasks
- Entwicklung und Umsetzung von Strategien im Bereich Energie und Industrie
- Vergabe von Fördermitteln und Management der Vergabeprozesse
- Verwaltung von Budgets und Monitoring von Projekten
- Analyse der politischen Landschaft im Bereich Energie- und Industriepolitik
- Aufbau von Netzwerken zu wichtigen Akteuren in Politik, Wirtschaft und Zivilgesellschaft
Requirements
- Mindestens 5-7 Jahre Berufserfahrung in einem politischen Umfeld
- Sehr gutes Verständnis der Energie-, Klima- und/oder Industriepolitik
- Starkes strategisches und politisches Denken
- Ausgeprägte diplomatische Fähigkeiten
- Fließende Deutsch- und ausgezeichnete Englischkenntnisse
