Satellite Image Data Analyst at AIRMO

AIRMO is seeking a Satellite image data analyst to join our mission of providing precise data on greenhouse gas emissions management.

Develop and implement machine learning and deep learning models for satellite imagery analysis for GHG emission identification.
Develop algorithms for GHG emissions quantification.
Work with software engineers to build robust data pipelines and visualize model results.
Collaborate with the product team to create products that enhance climate risk management across various industries.

Experience in managing, processing and analyzing satellite or aerial imagery
Familiarity with hyperspectral and multispectral data
Extensive experience in Python, with focus on data handling (e.g. Xarray, Pandas, Dask)
Experience in building and maintaining pipelines and infrastructure for machine learning in distributed systems
Knowledge of atmospheric modelling tools and familiarity with GIS algorithms and software is a plus
Experience with image classification and anomaly detection
Degree in computer science, machine learning, or a related fields
3-5 years of experience in machine learning, image processing and computer vision
Strong understanding of data processing and analysis.
Fluency in English.
