suena energy, is a green tech startup specializing on optimization and algorithmic power trading for Battery Storage Systems and Renewable Energies. The focus lies on maximizing returns and reducing risks on short-term electricity and balancing markets through our AI-based optimization and trading software - the energy trading autopilot.
Purpose of the role
This is what you’ll be mastering:
- Hit sales objectives: drive sales process, meet sales targets, while keeping customer satisfaction on a high level
- Grow customer base: target new clients, manage leads, converting prospects into customers by delivering and deliver compelling presentations to convert prospects into customers.
- Own full sales cycle: run contract negotiations, get all the other stakeholders from the other teams involved efficiently if needed, drive a clear sales process and adapt new adjustments to ensure consistent results.
- Build strong and long-lasting relationships with prospect customers through active listening, identifying their needs fast and building a rapport efficiently.
- Enhance CRM: be constantly exploring and analyzing our Customer Relationship Management (CSM) system in order to keep constantly optimizing processes there.
- Increase visibility: be the face and voice of suena at various fairs and conferences.
- Stay up-to-date: build networks in the industry, be regularly checking the updates on the market to stay informed about emerging trends and opportunities.
- Approach sales process strategically: develop long-term objectives we would aim for to stay competitive, translate emerging industry tendencies into business opportunities.
- Keep customer focus at all times: actively network and maintain relationships finding common ground to create opportunities, establish and achieve goals
You for sure have:
- Industry expertise: at least 2 years of sales/business development experience in the energy industry (preferably, renewable), proven record of growing customer bases.
- Efficient communication and closing skills: you know how to close sales fast, negotiate constructively, using all methods of communication
- CRM experience: you know how to and update all sales processes effectively in CRM (ideally, Hubspot).
- Language proficiency: fluent in German, excellent written and verbal English proficiency.
- Technical knowledge: solid understanding of renewable energy market, technologies used.
It’s great if you have:
- Financial competence: you can perform financial analysis, and make sales decisions (contract negotiations, investment opportunities) based on that.
- Extensive industry knowledge: in-depth understanding of the battery and renewable energy market.
- Scaling experience: you know how to run sales processes while establishing yourself in a new market.
- Self-managed profile: you know how to run things on your own, initiate change, cooperate with others and balance between independent analysis and team work.
- Other European language skills are a plus.
