Intro

Groundbreaker is a non-profit organization based in Cologne and Kampala, specializing in developing projects that go beyond traditional donations to create a sustainable, positive impact for all involved. One of our key programs is Groundbreaker Talents, which trains young women in Uganda from difficult financial backgrounds as software engineers in an intensive one-year program. The scholarships for this program are primarily funded by companies and investment funds in the IT industry. Employees of supporting companies are directly involved in our mentorship program, creating a platform for interaction. Our goal is to provide a truly sustainable way out of poverty while promoting diversity in the tech industry.
