Intro
The Resettlement and Complementary Pathways Intern position at UNHCR involves supporting the delivery of the Consultations on Resettlement and Complementary Pathways (CRCP) in June 2025. The intern will assist in preparations, document preparation, logistics, and technical requirements for the event. They will work under the supervision of the Resettlement and Complementary Pathways Officer within the Resettlement Team. The role requires good computer skills, understanding of UNHCR policy and resettlement, and strong interpersonal and communication skills. Fluency in English is essential, and knowledge of French is beneficial. The internship is full-time for 6 months with a possible 2-month extension, including one working weekend before the event.
Tasks
- Attend pre CRCP virtual meetings
- Support preparations for CRCP meeting
- Liaise with government officials, NGOs, refugees, and civil society
- Support with design and presentation of content related to resettlement and complementary pathways
- Follow up with archiving of key content
Requirements
- Recent graduate or current student in a graduate/undergraduate program
- Completed at least two years of undergraduate studies
- University Degree
- Excellent computer and IT proficiency
- Good understanding of UNHCR policy and practice
- Good understanding of Resettlement
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Fluency in written and spoken English
- Working knowledge of French is an asset
