Tasks
- Lead community and stakeholder engagement components of Nature Based Solutions (NBS) projects in Africa
- Produce high quality project description documentation and monitoring reports
- Develop transparent and equitable benefit sharing mechanisms
- Advise and support project partners on integrating community ownership into project governance
- Stay updated on major carbon standards and requirements related to stakeholder engagement
Requirements
- University Degree in social science and related fields
- Minimum of 5 years of work experience in NBS projects focusing on climate mitigation and socio-environmental development
- Understanding of carbon finance essentials and carbon project development
- Experience in design, implementation, and monitoring and evaluation in ecosystem services or restoration fields
