Intro
The Regional Lead for Technical Sustainable Technologies in Climate Projects in Southeast Asia at South Pole involves overseeing the generation and delivery of emission reductions, managing climate project development, and supporting the regional certificate team. The role requires expertise in sustainability technology, GHG mitigation, and project management, as well as strong communication and leadership skills. The position also involves collaborating with various teams, supervising team members, and engaging in business rounds and technical sessions to ensure project success and sustainability impact.
Tasks
- Lead emission reduction generation and full carbon cycle project development/management
- Maintain good relationships with project owners, clients, and other counterparts
- Support team heads and senior leads in sourcing & commercial activities
- Guide, train, and support a team of project managers in SE Asia
- Prepare proposals and deliverables to meet quality standards
- Define and plan content and structure to support project certification
- Provide technical reviews and quality checks
- Manage project budgets and resources efficiently
- Gather and present information at meetings
- Undertake research into potential partners and collaborators
- Participate in networking opportunities
Requirements
- University degree in Renewable Energy, Environmental Science, Engineering, Sustainability, or related field
- At least 5 years of relevant work experience in sustainability consulting or related fields
- Good understanding of carbon standards and climate change topics
- Creative, independent, and resourceful leader with GHG mitigation expertise
- Strong decision-making and accountability skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in Thai and English
- Thai National or Passport Holder
