Intro
As a Regional Account Manager for the Vertical Market Aerospace & Defence, you will be responsible for managing and developing assigned Regional Account(s) to contribute to the company’s growth targets.
Tasks
- Manage and develop assigned Regional Account(s) across all transport modes/Business Units
- Secure existing business and develop additional multimillion Euro business globally
- Foster and develop customer relationships into long-term partnerships
- Ensure sustainable business growth and retention of nominated Account(s)
- Develop and execute Strategic Account Plan(s) for assigned customer portfolio
- Improve and maintain customer satisfaction
- Support the development of customer-centric solutions
- Produce clear understanding of customer needs and decision-making process
- Serve as the focal point of contact for the customer’s Regional Organisation
- Establish and lead a functional account management team
- Drive strategy mapping and business improvement initiatives
- Monitor sales pipeline activities
- Coordinate tender planning and execution
- Maintain the Account(s) Development Plan and lead annual financial budget
- Conduct regular business review meetings with the customer
- Identify value chain expansion opportunities
- Act as escalation point for the customer
Requirements
- Strong leadership skills and strategic thinking
- Exceptional relationship management and communication skills
- Graduated in Business Administration/Supply Chain Management/Transport and Logistics or equivalent education
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in an international sales environment
- Strong business acumen with the ability to influence outcomes
- Proven track record in managing large scale customers and projects
- Deep knowledge of international transport and logistics operations
- Strong expertise or interest in the Vertical Market Aerospace & Defence
- Outstanding financial and process analytical skills
- Willingness to travel internationally
- Ability to work under pressure and high flexibility
- Highly developed social skills and service orientation
- Ability to work effectively in a customer-driven deadline environment
- Ability to work in a cross-functional, matrix & virtual environment
- Strong English language skills, additional languages are an advantage
