Intro
Planted Foods AG is looking for a Quality Manager to ensure product safety and quality in their production process in Germany. The role involves implementing quality controls, managing audits, maintaining traceability systems, and collaborating on internal quality projects. The ideal candidate has a background in food science, 3-5 years of experience in a quality role in the food industry, and proficiency in quality management systems and certifications like IFS. Strong communication skills in German and English are required, along with a customer-oriented and entrepreneurial mindset.
Tasks
- Ensure product safety and quality in the production process
- Implement, plan, and coordinate quality controls
- Manage audits and contribute to quality awareness development
- Maintain traceability system
- Track and improve quality KPIs
- Assist in revising and creating work instructions and QM documents
- Handle complaints, quality incidents, and deviations
- Collaborate on internal quality projects and teams
Requirements
- University degree in food science or related field
- 3-5 years of experience in quality department of a food production company
- Experience in quality assurance, control, complaint management, auditing, and certification
- Proficient in creating quality management systems
- Strong decision-making skills based on risk assessments
- Entrepreneurial mindset with customer service orientation
- Fluency in German and English, additional languages a plus
