Intro
Planted Foods AG is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to ensure product safety and quality during the production process at their Kemptthal location. The role involves implementing quality controls, maintaining compliance with standards and regulations, and overseeing quality metrics specific to the site. The ideal candidate will have a background in food science, 3-5 years of experience in a quality department of a food production facility, and familiarity with quality assurance practices and certifications. Strong communication skills in German and English are required.
Tasks
- Overseeing quality assurance at the Kemptthal site and leading a team
- Ensuring product safety and quality during the production process
- Implementing and coordinating quality controls to meet standards and customer requirements
- Managing the traceability system
- Creating and tracking quality KPIs specific to the Kemptthal site
- Developing and training on cross-product quality guidelines
- Participating in internal quality projects and teams
Requirements
- University degree in food science or related field
- 3-5 years of experience in quality department of a food production company
- Experience in quality assurance, complaint management, and auditing
- Knowledge of IFS certification or other GFSI certifications
- Strong customer orientation, positive mindset, independence, teamwork, responsibility, flexibility, practical approach
- Ability to set clear boundaries and make decisions based on risk assessments
- Entrepreneurial mindset
- Fluency in German and English, additional languages a plus
