Intro
krisenchat is a psychosocial counseling service in German for children and young people up to 25 years of age, extending support to individuals affected by the war in Ukraine who need counseling in Ukrainian or Russian. The internship opportunity involves providing crisis intervention through chat counseling, supporting counselors with content-related questions, participating in internal meetings, and more. It requires confidence in speaking and writing in Ukrainian and/or Russian, enrollment or degree in psychology, clinical knowledge of psychological disorders, and sensitivity to the topic of war.
Tasks
- Chat counseling
- Supporting the counselors with content-related questions
- Supporting the psychological management in conceptual work regarding trauma, PTBS, the topic of refugees and more
- Participation in internal meetings and supervisions
- Translations
- Administrative tasks
- Development of a task (tool) that can be used in the chat consultation
- Holding a workshop accompanying the developed exercise
Requirements
- Confidence in speaking and writing in Ukrainian and/or Russian
- Enrollment or Degree in psychology
- Clinical knowledge of problems and psychological disorders
- Interest in supporting people affected by the ongoing war with a high sensitivity for this topic
- Feeling for sensitive communication and knowledge of resonance
- Ability for self-reflection
- Flexibility, fun, and curiosity in testing digital support services
- Ability to work in a team and independently, digitally
