The EU doctoral network LUMIERE is dedicated to development of novel biomimetic photoswitches and investigation of their ultrafast dynamics by state-of-the-art experimental methods, such as time-resolved photoelectron spectroscopy and transient absorption spectroscopy. The network comprises nine research partners in several EU member and associated countries: Germany, France, Italy, Sweden, Czech Republic, UK. The network will employ 10 doctoral candidates and involves several associated partners including four commercial companies.
