project coordinator VOLUNTEER at Cinema for Peace Foundation

Cinema for Peace Foundation is looking for volunteers to join our team in Berlin to support humanitarian causes through film and advocacy.

Reaching out to strategic and funding partners in G20 countries to organize monthly film screenings and panel discussions
Supporting the Cinema for Peace fundraising initiatives through various means
Drafting, posting, and reporting on social media posts
Supporting in conception and execution of Cinema for Peace Campaigns
Selecting and curating films for screenings and festivals
Liaising with artists, galleries, and art collectors for fundraising
Organising high-level Advocacy events globally
Supporting the Management of Cinema for Peace special projects
General administration and support for the team

Educational qualifications in Film, Human Rights, International Relations, International Law, Project Management, or related fields
A passion for films, art, international conflicts, human rights, climate change, and socio-political issues
Prior experience in an international organization, NGO, civil society organization, or film-related organization
Specific prior experience in at least 3 main fields mentioned under ‘tasks’
Excellent written and spoken fluency in English
Other languages, especially German, are an advantage
Proactive, problem-solving attitude
Lives in Berlin
