    Intro

    Tasks

    • Coordinate governance structures such as Steering Committee and Working Group meetings.
    • Manage complex set of stakeholders to gain partner alignment on operational topics and facilitate delivery of deliverables.
    • Lead development of key deliverables relating to Steering Committee and Working Group requests, impact strategy, communications, events, etc.
    • Management of the client relationship, including coordination on project planning, content, implementation, as well as preparation, moderation, and follow-up of customer meetings.
    • Structuring and planning of projects, particularly for international organisations and foundations active in global development; implementation of projects according to planning.
    • Content leadership and driving forward project results, from conceptualisation with support of the team and final quality responsibility and control.
    • Management and development of VfG Consultants in the project team, including guiding the content of the work, structuring work packages, implementing a common work routine in the team, as well providing coaching and feedback.
    • Contribute to further developing Value for Good as an organization, including supporting the development of proposals and approaches for future consulting projects and taking on internal responsibilities in the areas of business development, marketing, talent or operations.

    Requirements

    • Minimum of 10 years of work experience across relevant areas.
    • 3+ years of top-tier strategy consulting experience.
    • 3+ years of experience working with reputable international development organisations.
    • Experience sourcing and brokering deals in development finance institutions, ideally in the health sector.
    • Experience in managing complex projects and teams, excellent stakeholder management skills, ideally in a policy environment.
    • Good understanding of LMICs and global health market drivers.
    • Experience with ensuring high quality delivery.
    • Comfortable with ambiguity and ability navigating uncertainty.
    • Keen interest to foster development of junior colleagues via training and coaching.
    • Strong motivation to actively contribute to Value for Good’s growth and development.
    • Experience working in cross-sector environments, ideally with experience working with European institutions.
    • Fluency in English; French and German would be considered assets.
    • Ideally based in Germany, willingness to travel to Brussels on a monthly basis.
