The Peace Research Institute Frankfurt (PRIF) analyses the causes of international and intrastate conflicts. As one of the leading peace research institutes in Europe, we combine interdisciplinary basic research with science transfer to the public, the media and policymakers. Since 2009, the PRIF has been a member of the Leibniz Association, a national umbrella organization of outstanding non-university research institutes in Germany. PRIF is headquartered in Frankfurt and has a branch office in Berlin. More than 100 employees from research, administration and science communication contribute to PRIF's success. We are looking for a new colleague to join our team as soon as possible.

One personnel manager (m/f/d) in full- or part-time, for the duration of two years with the possibility of prolongation.

• Acting as one of the representatives of the personnel department for employees;
• Processing of monthly salary calculations in cooperation with an external service provider;
• Creation of documents and forms relating to the hiring, employment, and termination of employees;
• Corresponding with social security providers, government offices, and other official institutions;
• Counseling employees on matters of taxation and social security relating to their employment;
• Creating prognoses of personnel costs;
• Creation of regular reports and statistics.

• Professional qualification through job training (Berufsausbildung) or a degree of higher education;
• Experience in using payroll management software (e.g. HRworks);
• Experience working in personnel management;
• A service-oriented, dependable, and discreet work ethic;
• Good communication and soft skills;
• Very good spoken and written command of German and good spoken and written command of English.
