Intro
StartSteps Digital Education GmbH is seeking a passionate and experienced Project Manager to join their team as an Online Trainer in Project Management. The role involves delivering engaging lessons, guiding participants through project management concepts, and contributing to the future of digital skills education. The ideal candidate should have extensive project management experience, a passion for teaching and mentoring, and the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly. Tasks
- Deliver project management sessions, including live case studies, Q&A, project plan reviews, and portfolio work, tailored to both one-on-one mentoring and classroom teaching formats.
- Introduce essential tools and techniques in project management, adaptable for individual learners and classroom settings.
- Educate about the responsibilities and market demands of a project manager, catering to both personal mentoring and group discussions.
- Impart effective teamwork and communication skills within a project management context, suitable for both one-on-one and group learning scenarios.
- Provide professional coaching on job applications as a project manager, equally beneficial for individual and classroom interactions.
- Collaborate with learners, both individually and as a class, to plan the next steps for their professional development in the field of project management.
Requirements
- You have at least five years of professional experience in the field of traditional and/or agile project management.
- You have a degree in a technical field or similar vocational degrees.
- You have experience in managing IT projects and you're certified in PM (PMA, IPMA or Prince2).
- Ideally you are proficient in some of our other education fields, like coding, data, design, marketing etc.
- First experiences alongside your work in project management as a trainer / mentor.
- Enthusiasm to welcome others to the digital field, and to share your own experiences both as a student and working professional.
- Willingness to work with students from beginner level onwards.
- In depth knowledge of the industry.
- Ideally you have in-depth knowledge of the job market for projekt managers.
- You’re fluent in English.
