Your tasks
- Improving forecasting accuracy of commercial departments through reviewing performance data and ensuring process adherence
- Working cross-functionally to ensure end-to-end process alignment of forecast from sale's inputs to purchasing decisions
- Create alignment with Operations and Commercial teams to develop actions to reduce out-of-stock risks
- Manage inventory strategy through balancing SKU overstock and availability
- Ensure smooth implementation of promotional activities and new product launches
- Enhancing current processes to improve forecasting and availability performance
Your profile
- Degree in business administration or comparable qualification, ideally with a focus on supply chain management
- You have at 1-2 years of professional experience in demand planning, sales and operations planning, procurement, purchasing or supply chain management in the food industry or in a strategy consultancy
- You live in Berlin or are willing to relocate for your new position
- You have excellent English skills
- You are confident in using MS Office, especially Excel
- You are comfortable working in Google and/or Microsoft suite of tools (i.e. Google Sheets)
- Experience with Demand Planning and Replenishment tools would be a plus
- Experience with SQL would be a plus
- You have excellent analytical and communication skills
- You are characterized by a structured way of working
