Intro
Malteser International is seeking a Logistics Assistant for their program office in Maiduguri, Nigeria. The role involves managing and coordinating the organization's fleet of vehicles, overseeing warehouse operations, managing asset tracking and maintenance, providing support in procurement processes, and filling logistic documents. The ideal candidate should have a University Degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in logistics, warehousing, fleet, or assets management. Experience in humanitarian interventions and development programs is required. Only applicants who are indigenes of Borno State will be considered for this position. The start date is September 2024, and the contract duration is 18 months renewable. Salary will be according to qualification and experience, including an insurance package.

Requirements
- University Degree in Business Administration, Logistics and Supply Chain Management, or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years working experience in logistics, warehousing, fleet, assets, or related fields
- Experience in humanitarian interventions and development programs
- Proficiency in report writing
- Experience in planning and managing procurements
