Tasks
- Provide substantive and strategic legal advice to all KONUX departments
- Support the setup of new international entities
- Establish a self-service system for legal advice in the company
- Manage the public procurement process for customer contracts in different jurisdictions
- Manage external law firms to deliver within budget
- Shape and execute the IP strategy
- Perform risk assessments and enable informed decision making
- Review, draft and support contract negotiations with customers, suppliers, and partners
- Provide in-house legal training
- Draft/rework and educate the team on KONUX policies
- Support with corporate housekeeping, compliance, and governance
- Assure conformity with applicable global data protection laws
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of full-time work experience as a legal counsel in a start-up or mid-sized company
- German qualified lawyer (Volljurist/in bzw. Syndikusrechtsanwalt/-anwältin)
- Excellent knowledge in at least two areas of law: Contract- and trade law, IP/IT law, Corporate law, European Public Procurement law
- First contract drafting experience and skill in writing legal documents
- Familiarity with MS Office and/or G-Suite
- Embrace legal tech and understand integration of tech solutions in daily work
- Full working proficiency in English and German
