    Democracy Reporting International (DRI) is a non-partisan, independent, not-for-profit organisation registered in Berlin with several country offices worldwide. DRI promotes the political participation of citizens, accountability of state bodies, and the development of democratic institutions worldwide.

    DRI is currently recruiting an IT Coordinator / an internal IT Consultant for its Berlin headquarters to support DRI’s Finance, HR & Administration unit. Under the supervision of the Director of Finance, HR & Admin, you would be responsible for the following tasks.

    Your tasks

    In collaboration with, and under the supervision of the Director of HR and Administration, you will be responsible for the following tasks.

    • First contact point for all IT concerns for DRI global (first level support) and provides IT help desk ad hoc advices and documentation
    • Coordination of tasks with external 2nd/3rd level IT
    • First contact point for the external data protection responsible for IT related questions (ensuring adherence to and implementation of compliance and data protection requirements and their administration)
    • User administration
    • SharePoint Administrator
    • Monitoring and administration of the Microsoft 365 tenant
    • Maintenance and support of existing SharePoint applications
    • Support in the planning of IT requirements, procurement of hardware & software as well as software licenses, processing of invoices
    • Support in digitalization and optimization of processes, development of new concepts, further development of existing applications
    • Support in implementing a knowledge management system
    • Preparation of training materials
    • Other relevant duties, as required.

    Your skills and experience

    • Degree in Informatics, Business informatics or other relevant fields; alternatively extensive job experience
    • Three years of work experience with Microsoft 365 administration
    • Experience with Windows Server would be beneficial
    • Experience with website architecture and CMS would be beneficial
    • Good communication skills
    • Ability to work as part of a diverse team
    • Fluency in written and spoken English.
