The World Fund is a €300M venture capital fund focused on decarbonisation and climate tech. We are looking for an Investment Associate to join our Munich team.
Tasks
- Supporting deal flow generation and championing prospective deals
- Independently providing the initial analysis and evaluation of startups
- Supporting hypothesis development with market/tech/sector research
- Developing tech/product/market/competition/sales analysis
- Creating financial models
- Writing Investment Proposals and supporting with legal documentation
- Contributing to the execution of the investment end-to-end

Requirements
- Three years prior experience in a full-time position, with at least two years at a venture capital, private equity or infrastructure fund
- Passion for climate with deep knowledge in at least one climate tech vertical
- Excellent academic track record
- Capability to thrive in a high-performance culture
- Passionate about addressing climate change
- Supportive of diverse opinions and able to constructively challenge viewpoints
- Fluent in English
- Reliable according to § 1 (20) no. 1 - 3 of the German Anti Money Laundering Act
- Degree in technical or scientific field (desirable)
- Voluntary or professional activities in a climate tech field (desirable)
- Prior experience of thought leadership in key verticals (desirable)
- Fluent in German (desirable)
