Intermediate/Senior Energy Engineer (M/F/D) at gridX GmbH

Build/extend/maintain the state-of-the-art EMS logic for the Tariff Timer service
Drive the development of time-of-use optimization models
Identify shortcomings and bottlenecks in EMS logic
Work closely with product management to understand customer needs
Conceptualize mathematical energy system models and control algorithms
Translate mathematical EMS logic into scalable software service
Develop/review design documents and guide other engineers
Monitor daily operations and push improvements to internal processes
Design EMS solutions that customers love to use

3+ years of experience with mathematical modeling of energy systems
Experience with numerical optimization techniques (e.g., MILP)
Intermediate level in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Python, Go, Julia)
Experience with data science techniques, particularly for time series forecasting (brownie points)
Strong track record of software development experiences, particularly in distributed software systems (brownie points)
