Human Resources Volunteer HR team Worldwide Volunteer position Shape the team of one of the most ambitious NGOs worldwide.
Components of your role:
- Recruitment and Selection:
- Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract and retain a diverse pool of volunteers.
- Coordinate volunteer application processes, including screening, interviewing.
- Collaborate with department managers to determine volunteer staffing needs and identify suitable candidates.
- Onboarding and Training:
- Conduct orientation sessions for new volunteers, providing them with an overview of the organization, policies, and procedures.
- Develop and deliver training programs to enhance volunteers' skills and knowledge.
- Ensure that volunteers receive the necessary training and support to perform their roles effectively.
- Volunteer Engagement and Retention:
- Foster a positive volunteer experience by providing ongoing support, recognition, and opportunities for growth.
- Develop and implement volunteer appreciation initiatives, such as recognition events or awards programs.
- Regularly communicate with volunteers to gather feedback and address any concerns or issues.
- HR Strategy
- Together with the leadership team, you will sketch out and implement Aid Pioneer’s employer branding strategy.

Your profile:
- Proven experience in HR or practical experience around people, preferably in a nonprofit or volunteer-based organization.
- Finished or ongoing diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Knowledge of HR best practices.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Very structured and thorough working style so that no volunteer or candidate is left behind.
- You have an excellent command of written and spoken English (required) and German (valuable, but not essential), other languages are an advantage.
- You work proactively and independently - we appreciate a self-starter attitude!
