Your mission
You will work together with ReDI School’s leadership and Program Managers to develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy to meet the financial goals of the Digital Women program and contribute to the financial sustainability of the organisation.
You will be responsible for securing funding for operations in 2025, 2026 and, ideally, longer-term funding. The main priority will be to secure support for our Digital Women program in 2025 and 2026, so that we can continue to support our FINTA* learners in their digital education and career development in our Berlin, Munich and NRW locations.
Your tasks
- Identify, vetting and acquisition of new donors (including, but not limited to corporate sponsors, foundations, public agencies) through research, networking and other outreach activities,
- Coordination, writing and submission of grant applications in collaboration with respective Program managers, leadership and Head of Finance,
- Represent ReDI School in networking, fundraising and charity events.
- Designing compelling fundraising materials for social media campaigns.
- Monitor and analyze fundraising performance and adjust strategies as needed.
- Maintain accurate donor records and ensure timely acknowledgment of donations.
- Stay informed about fundraising trends and best practices.
Your profile
- At least 5 years of experience in fundraising, preferably in the non-profit sector.
- Proven track record of successful fundraising and donor management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in multicultural environments.
- Very solid understanding of the political, institutional and non-profit landscape in Germany.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Proficiency in fundraising software and CRM systems.
- Fluent in German and English.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Passionate about supporting the integration journey of newcomers and marginalized communities through digital education.
Desirable
- Experience securing public funding, at a local (municipality), regional (Land), federal (Ministries) or European (EU grants) level.
- Leverage an existing network of relevant contacts within the nonprofit, corporate, and philanthropic sectors to cultivate partnerships and secure funding opportunities
