Front-end developer (f/m/d) 50 % at Climate Media Factory

Intro

The Climate Media Factory is looking for a front-end developer (m/f/d) for the development of an interactive, user-friendly web application aimed at climate change mitigation and adaptation.

Tasks

Co-development of user-friendly and scalable end-user products to support the decarbonisation of cities & regions in an ongoing stakeholder process
Design and implementation of the front-end and its features in consultation with the project development team and the international consortium
Quality assurance and scalability testing

Requirements

Relevant experience in developing and building decision-making tools or other end-user products
Proficiency in relevant web technologies for data visualisation
Ability to think independently, act proactively, and take responsibility for projects
Experience in international, English-speaking teamwork and ability to deal with constructive feedback
Interest in sustainability and climate science
Knowledge on the back-end side (definition and implementation of APIs, databases) is an advantage
A degree in a relevant discipline is an advantage
