Intro
GFA Consulting Group is seeking a French-speaking Consultant to join their Public Finance Management Department in Hamburg, Germany. The consultant will be responsible for acquiring and managing projects related to public finance management, networking with stakeholders, conducting consultancy missions, and contributing to the development of the thematic area. The ideal candidate should have a university degree in relevant fields, at least 3 years of work experience in development cooperation, familiarity with donor policies, and proficiency in French and English. Travel within Africa is required.
Tasks
- Acquisition of new projects and proposals in public finance management
- Management of ongoing projects and studies
- Networking with stakeholders
- Conducting consultancy missions
- Elaboration of reports and presentations
- Contributing to knowledge management
- Representing the company in conferences
- Supporting junior professionals
Requirements
- University degree in business administration, economics, or development studies
- At least 3 years of relevant work experience in development cooperation
- Experience in low- and middle-income countries
- Familiarity with donor agencies and international financial institutions
- Proficiency in French and English
- Basic knowledge of German
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Willingness to travel extensively in Africa
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to manage complex situations under tight schedules
