Your responsibilities
- You collect, organize, and analyze financial data from various sources
- You conduct trend analysis, variance analysis, and performance analysis to identify patterns and discrepancies
- You analyze financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- You prepare detailed financial reports and presentations for management, stakeholders, and other departments
- You develop regular financial summaries (weekly, monthly, quarterly) to track financial performance against budgets and forecasts
- You assist in the preparation of annual reports and other regulatory filings
- You assist in the creation and management of the company’s budget, working closely with different departments
- You develop financial forecasts based on historical data, market trends, and company objectives
- You monitor budget vs. actual performance and provide explanations for variances
- You create and maintain complex financial models to project the company’s future financial performance
- You use financial models to evaluate potential investment opportunities, new products, or cost-saving initiatives
- You conduct sensitivity analysis and scenario planning to assess the impact of different business decisions
- You identify financial risks and opportunities related to business activities
- You develop strategies to mitigate financial risks, including hedging strategies or investment diversification
Your profile
- You hold a Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field. A master’s degree or MBA is a plus
- You have several years of experience in financial analysis or in a similar role
- You have a strong ability to analyze complex data sets and draw meaningful insights that support strategic decision-making
- You ensure precision in handling financial data, guaranteeing accuracy in reports, forecasts, and all financial documentation
- You possess an in-depth understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and economic indicators that guide your analysis and reporting
- You are highly skilled in Microsoft Excel, financial modeling software, and financial reporting tools (e.g., QAD, SAP, Oracle), enabling you to manage and interpret financial data effectively
- You can clearly convey financial information to non-financial stakeholders, both in written reports and through impactful presentations
- You are creative in finding solutions to financial challenges and excel at optimizing processes to improve financial outcomes
- You have the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- You work well with cross-functional teams, actively sharing insights and knowledge, and contributing to the overall success of the team
- Proficiency in English and German is required
