    Tasks

    • Review implementing partners' progress reports and collaborate with programs team to develop grant monitoring system
    • Maintain oversight of budgets/spends for grants and create spending mitigation action plans for variances
    • Participate in grant review meetings and track projects and spending for each assigned donor
    • Develop and deploy training on grant finance requirements and project financial systems
    • Assess and report on fiduciary controls for financial management of donor funds
    • Review grant expense coding and ensure accurate recording
    • Develop and maintain register of donor rules and regulations by grant and monitor compliance

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or related field
    • Minimum of 7 years relevant experience, preferably in the nonprofit sector
    • Advanced Excel skills required
    • Experience with philanthropic funding and donors' budget and regulatory compliance
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
    • Well-organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle heavy workload with competing priorities
    • Strong quantitative and analytical skills, accuracy, attention to detail, and technical savvy with Microsoft Office and Intacct Accounting System
    • Proficient in English
