    Field Engineer Team Lead  (f/m/d)

    Starting date: As soon as possible**
    Compensation package:** €90,000 - €100,000 in yearly salary, €40,000 - €80,000 in equity. Additionally up to €5,000 p.a. in company benefitsWork model: Full-time, Hybrid in Munich; Travel is required to client location up to 40% of the time

    Your role

    As a Field Engineer Team Lead, you will manage a team of highly skilled engineers located across Europe.
    In this role,  you will also play a hands-on role in the installation and maintenance of our scanning solution, including MRI systems, automated transport systems, and other technical equipment.

    This position includes your collaboration with our product, hardware, and software teams, ensuring the timely realization of projects on-site and tailored to local conditions.

    Your day-to-day

    On a typical day, you will:

    • Guide and mentor the team of Field Engineers across Europe.
    • Plan resources and provide hiring strategies.
    • Collaborate with our internal and external suppliers on installations and service activities.
    • Organize and coordinate installations on-site in Europe.

    Organisational skills and Communication

    • You know how to mentor and guide a diverse, experienced team of engineers.
    • You speak English and German fluently.
    • You communicate effectively and you are self-confident when interacting with customers, suppliers, and team members.
    • You enable quick, informed decision-making by clearly communicating needs, processing feedback, and organizing information.
    • You know how to root cause technical problems, solving them by consulting suitable agents or parties.
    • You are open to travel to suppliers and customers located across Europe.
    • You have an EU Class B driver’s license.

    Technical expertise

    • You have a higher professional technical education in electrical engineering; alternatively: Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical engineering, Mechatronics or similar.
    • You know the architecture of industrial automation systems and their components.
    • You know how to interpret and create technical documentation, e.g. circuit diagrams, and drawings with modern CAD tools.

    • You have a solid knowledge of electricity, statics, construction and water-cooling.
    • You have worked in a customer-facing position before.
    • You have basic knowledge of Linux.
