THIS IS THE JOB

You will have overall responsibility for the finance department, which includes accounting, controlling, and tax, serving as the primary contact for all economic and tax-related matters.

You will oversee all financial processes, including accounting, payroll, and all relevant reporting, ensuring compliance with legal and tax regulations.

As a co-pilot for the operational departments, you will provide actionable recommendations and advise stakeholders based on data and KPIs.

You will conceptualize and coordinate the preparation of the annual budget, mid-year forecasts, and medium-term planning.

You will shape the finance department, optimizing accounting and controlling processes and leading a team of three employees.

You will independently lead cross-functional finance projects in collaboration with other departments.

You will be responsible for preparing our monthly and annual financial statements according to HGB and will be actively involved in these projects.

You will handle all tax matters, both national and international (primarily VAT).

You will oversee our ERP system (SAP) for the FI area, focusing on its ongoing development and professionalization.

You are part of management and report directly to the executive team.

You have a degree in business or economics with a focus on finance, or an equivalent qualification.

You bring several years of professional experience in accounting, controlling, and tax as a Head of Finance, preferably in an e-commerce setting, and have knowledge and experience in inventory accounting and inventory valuation.

You have a strong affinity for numbers, exceptional analytical and conceptual skills, and a focus on problem-solving.

You have a pronounced hands-on mentality, are structured and organized, and enjoy working operationally.

You enjoy teamwork, communicate well, and are comfortable collaborating with other departments. Your strong interpersonal and communication skills allow you to engage in discussions with our management on an equal footing.

You want to make an impact: in a dynamic work environment with tight deadlines, you successfully juggle multiple topics at once.

You have a strong affinity for IT systems: excellent knowledge of common Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, is essential. You also have extensive experience with integrated ERP systems (preferably SAP). First experience with controlling tools (e.g., Tableau) is a plus.

You have business-fluent German and English skills (C2) in both written and spoken communication.
