Beyond Fossil Fuels (BFF) is seeking a Digital Communications Officer to support and expand the visibility of their campaign for a just transition to a fossil-free, renewables-based energy system in Europe. The role involves managing the BFF website, creating digital content, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. The ideal candidate will have experience in digital communications, website management, SEO, and design tools.

Tasks

Manage and maintain the organization's website and digital platforms
Create and edit text and visual content for the website and social media
Ensure website compliance with relevant laws and regulations
Track user analytics and monitor website traffic
Design graphic materials and campaign publications
Support the development of digital and audio-visual communications materials

Requirements

At least four years' experience in a similar digital communications role
Strong understanding of digital content best practices including SEO, accessibility, and UX
Experience with content management systems (CMS) and WordPress
Proficiency in Google Analytics and other digital tools
Excellent written and spoken English skills
Experience with Adobe software and design tools
Highly organized and experienced in project management
Passionate about promoting a healthy, environmentally friendly, and fair society
