Intro
Watershed is a software platform focused on helping companies measure, reduce, remove, and report their emissions. They are seeking a Deal Desk Analyst to join their Revenue Operations team. The role involves supporting the Sales organization with order structuring, drafting assistance, and coordinating approvals. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, experienced in deal strategy and operations, proficient in Salesforce CRM, and have Order Management experience. This is a full-time independent contractor position with a duration of at least 6 months, starting by early October. The position can be in the NY office or remote in the US, with a preference for the Eastern Time Zone.
Tasks
- Ensure accurate recording and tracking of deals in Salesforce
- Collaborate with finance, legal, and billing teams for deal structuring
- Create and review order forms for new business, upsells, and renewals
- Recommend best practices for Sales Contracts and Billing
- Educate and support Sales teams on deal structuring
- Draft and review special requests for non-standard business terms
- Develop and maintain templates and workflows for sales process optimization
Requirements
- 2-3 years of experience in Enterprise or Startup SaaS/B2B Industry
- Proficiency in Salesforce CRM
- Experience with CPQ and CLM tools
- Strong understanding of software revenue recognition
- Ability to multitask and prioritize
- Highly organized with attention to detail
- Proven relationship builder
- Desire to work in a fast-paced environment
