Intro
TenneT, a leading European grid operator, is seeking a passionate Data Engineer to contribute to shaping the future of the energy transition at their location in Arnhem. The role involves transitioning to the new TenneT Data Cloud Platform, delivering data products for Self-Service Analytics and Reporting, and working on various data-related tasks within a product team. The ideal candidate should be proficient in modern data warehousing, Azure Cloud, Python, data visualization techniques, databases, and more. TenneT offers a challenging opportunity with a focus on digital, data, and analytics to drive the energy transition and ensure organizational and financial health.
Tasks
- Transition to new data cloud platform
- Deliver data products for Self-Service Analytics and Reporting
- Work in a scrum team
- Gather and clarify requirements from business
- Make functional and technical designs
- Build ingestions, cleaning, parsing, modeling, dashboarding applications
- Expose and analyze data
- Convert raw data into solutions
- Write and maintain program and system documentation
- Manage and monitor data products
- Migration to Azure Cloud
Requirements
- Proficiency in Modern Data Warehousing
- Experience with Azure Cloud (Databricks / MS Fabric)
- Knowledge of Kimball methodology
- Ability in requirement gathering and analysis
- Skills in Python, MS DevOps, Scrum / DevOps, PowerBI, (Relational) databases, Containerization, Kafka, Object storage, Security in Data ETL, DevOps
