    Tasks

    The outcomes we expect from your role within the first year

    • You are building relationships with key players of our industry increasing their revenue share by a threefold in volume
    • You are an absolute self-starter, executing on our business development strategy to bring VARM to new heights
    • You institute yourself as key responsible for strategic projects while gaining the trust to represent VARM in high-profile meetings (speaking to boards, conferences, ..)
    Join VARM as our Manager for Business development and forge strategic alliances to bring VARM’s solutions to more businesses. Together, we'll tackle the challenges of the energy transition with insulation. This is your chance to be part of the core team of Europe’s Insulation Champion.
    • Develop Strategic Partnerships: Find long-lasting, high-ROI alliances that contribute to VARM's growth objectives
    • Market Analysis and Opportunity Identification: Identify and prioritize partnership opportunities based on market trends, ensuring we are staying ahead in the industry
    • Build Lasting Relationships: Establish strong relationships with partners, creating ongoing win-win situations that support sustained growth and develop our business further

    Requirements

    • You have a very strong background, e.g., in management consulting, investment banking or a fast growing start-up / scale-up or another fast-paced, highly demanding environment
    • You are adept at managing complex projects and are comfortable working in constantly changing environments
    • You possess a keen interest in sustainability and are driven by a desire to make a tangible impact on the climate-tech landscape
    • Proven ability to think strategically, exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to translate complex scenarios into actionable solutions
    • Language Proficiency: Fluent in German and proficient in English
    • Location: This is a Berlin-based opportunity with home office options
