Intro
PAUL Tech AG is a technology leader in the real estate industry with a mission to make buildings climate-neutral. They are looking for a Backend Developer MDM/DAM to develop intelligent solutions for buildings to combat climate change. The role involves optimizing server-side logic, managing databases, creating RESTful APIs, collaborating with frontend developers, implementing security measures, and monitoring application performance. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, experience as a Backend Developer, proficiency in server-side languages and database technologies, knowledge of TypeScript, Node.js, and API development, and familiarity with code versioning tools and CI/CD pipelines.
Tasks
- Develop and optimize server-side logic and frameworks
- Design, implement, and manage databases for optimal data storage
- Create and manage RESTful APIs and API versions
- Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements
- Implement security measures to protect sensitive data
- Monitor and enhance application performance and scalability
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Backend Developer or similar role
- Proficiency in server-side languages such as Python, Java, Ruby, or PHP
- Experience with database technologies like MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB
- Knowledge of TypeScript, Node.js, and API development (GraphQL, REST)
- Familiarity with code versioning tools (Git) and continuous integration/deployment pipelines
