Intro
Octopus Energy in the UK is seeking Venue Sales Ambassadors to join their field sales team as Energy Helpers. The role involves engaging with local communities to promote Octopus Energy as a preferred energy supplier, focusing on green energy solutions. Energy Helpers play a key role in showcasing the brand and assisting customers in making informed decisions about their energy supply. This position requires face-to-face interactions at venues, with occasional door-to-door activities, and a strong emphasis on customer service and sales expertise.
Tasks
- Communicate with customers at events and venues to promote Octopus Energy
- Provide excellent customer service to prospective customers
- Participate in door-to-door knocking and other activities to reach potential customers
- Work collaboratively with the team to influence and inspire
- Operate in busy shopping centres and supermarkets, including weekends and late shifts
Requirements
- Based in the Northwest and able to travel to various locations
- Understanding of sales in a customer-facing environment
- Experience in a customer-centric setting with quick and effective customer solutions
- Ability to work both independently and in a team
- Clear communicator with a focus on listening and attention to detail
- Honest, focused, and committed to delivering high levels of customer service
