Intro
The Analyst position at EBRD involves contributing to all phases of the project cycle for infrastructure projects, including project origination, structuring, execution, implementation, and monitoring. The Analyst will work as part of a project team under the guidance of senior members, focusing on tasks such as due diligence, financial analysis, and project monitoring. The role requires a Bachelor's degree, with a preference for a Master's degree or equivalent experience, along with professional qualifications like ACA, CFA, ACCA, or CIMA. Strong quantitative, analytical, and communication skills are essential.
Tasks
- Contribute to all phases of the project cycle, including project origination, structuring, execution, implementation, and monitoring
- Undertake comprehensive due diligence, including financial, market, integrity, and policy compliance
- Focus on infrastructure projects
- Assist with project structuring and execution, financial analysis, and risk evaluation
- Prepare and update financial models and projections
- Assist with communication with internal units, clients, and stakeholders
- Monitor project progress, financial performance, and compliance with agreements
- Prepare monitoring reports and recommendations for corrective actions
- Assist with TC assignments and donor reporting requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree, Master’s degree preferred
- Professional qualification such as ACA, CFA, ACCA, or CIMA desirable
- Quantitative/numerical skills for financial interpretation and modeling
- Credit analysis skills and understanding of accounting principles
- Computer literacy with Microsoft Office and financial analysis tools
- Good written and oral communication skills in English
- Experience in financial industry from investment/commercial bank, private equity, asset management, or financial consulting firm
- Exposure to industry/country experience
