Intro
The job is for a Team Leader, Contract Implementation Manager, and Senior Advisor for the 'Deforestation-free supply chains' program in Ecuador. Qualifications include a university degree in economics, finance, or environmental sciences, proficiency in Spanish, and extensive experience in agriculture, green finance, and project management.
Tasks
- Overall responsibility for advisory packages
- Ensuring coherence and complementarity of services
- Staff management and support
- Monitoring procedures and reporting
- Financial planning and checking
- Supporting project strategy and evaluations
- Development of green credit financial products
- Mainstreaming gender and youth approach
- Coordinate cross-cutting and digitalisation actions
Requirements
- University degree in economics, finance, or environmental sciences
- Proficiency in Spanish (C2 level) and English (B2 level)
- 12 years of professional experience in agricultural or rural development sector
- 6 years of experience in green finance and financial products
- 4 years of management experience with disciplinary leadership responsibility
- 10 years of professional experience in Ecuador
- 4 years of experience in development cooperation projects
- 6 years of experience in financial and project management and digitisation
- Experience working with GAD and producer organisations
