Intro
The Cybersecurity Engineer Vulnerability Management Lead role at RAND involves managing the development, implementation, and operations of the organization's vulnerability management program. Tasks
- Develop, implement, and maintain the vulnerability management program
- Conduct vulnerability scanning and penetration testing
- Deliver training and awareness programs on vulnerability management processes
- Collaborate with technology and research teams to prioritize and remediate vulnerabilities
- Develop and maintain metrics for the vulnerability management program
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in Information Security/Cybersecurity with a focus on vulnerability management
- Experience with vulnerability management tools and processes
- Knowledge of cybersecurity regulations and standards
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, Security +, CISM, etc.
- Experience with cloud services and common security tools
