Intro
The position is for an LTT Associate at EBRD in London, UK, within the Office of the General Counsel. Tasks
- Provide legal assistance and support to OGC counsel
- Draft, review, and negotiate legal and/or policy documentation
- Conduct legal research in areas of climate governance, sustainability regulation, and natural resources
- Support delivery of Sustainable Finance Governance and Regulation objectives
- Support delivery of Natural Resources sector focus activities
- Advise clients on legal matters
- Develop and preserve knowledge of EBRD's internal policies and procedures
- Follow up on deliverables and deadlines for activities
Requirements
- Law degree from a leading university
- Post-graduate law degree or work experience in a different country
- Minimum of three years' work experience as a lawyer
- Experience in sustainable finance, climate governance, and/or natural resources
- Excellent command of written and spoken English
- Project management skills
