Intro
The Principal in the Project Integrity team at EBRD assesses integrity risk in projects and ensures high standards of integrity are consistently applied through the Bank's projects. The role involves providing specialist advice on transaction-related integrity and reputational issues, conducting training, and monitoring compliance with integrity standards. The Principal works closely with banking, credit, and legal teams, as well as external consultants, to mitigate integrity-related risks and provide guidance on compliance and governance matters.
Tasks
- Analyze, verify, interpret, and assess integrity and reputational risks in projects
- Provide specialist advice on transaction-related integrity issues
- Develop and provide training on integrity standards and compliance
- Monitor compliance with internal procedures
- Work on ad hoc projects related to the focus of the department
Requirements
- Law or finance degree or related field
- High integrity and discretion
- Negotiation and diplomacy skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Good team player with ability to work independently
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to draft policies and procedures
- Professional experience in legal, banking, compliance, or auditing
