Intro
Proton is seeking an experienced Social & Community Manager to drive growth, engagement, and excitement across all social media platforms and communities. The role involves creating value-rich content, listening to the community for feedback, managing crisis communications, analyzing and optimizing social efforts, and staying updated on industry trends. The ideal candidate should have experience in community and brand reputation management, tech/SaaS, social media management, and crisis communications. Strong written communication skills, strategic planning abilities, and a passion for the internet and social media are essential. Fluency in English is required, and bonus points for experience with B2C and B2B audiences, fast-paced startup environments, interest in online privacy, and fluency in other languages.
Tasks
- Drive growth, engagement, and excitement across social media platforms and communities
- Create value-rich content that resonates with the community
- Listen to the community and provide insights for product improvements
- Manage and mitigate community-related issues or crises
- Analyze and optimize social media presence and content performance
- Stay updated on platform best practices and trends in brand building
Requirements
- 3+ years experience in community & brand reputation management
- 1+ years experience in tech/SaaS
- Success in managing and growing social media accounts and online communities
- Experience in crisis communications and brand reputation management
- Outstanding written communication skills
- Strategic planning and execution skills
- Passion for internet, pop culture, and social media content
- Independent, self-motivated, proactive, and detail-oriented
- Native English speaker
