Intro

They are seeking an Electronic Engineer to design hardware for medical products, offering a chance to contribute to healthcare engineering and gain valuable experience. The role involves PCB design, collaboration with teams, ensuring high-quality designs, and compliance with processes and standards. Applicants should have knowledge of electronics, experience in component selection and simulation, familiarity with EDA tools, and expertise in signal integrity, regulatory standards, and cybersecurity in hardware. Fluency in English is required, German proficiency is a plus. The ideal candidate is proactive, analytical, and detail-oriented, with a strong desire to learn and contribute. Education requirements include a bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering and a master's degree in a technical discipline. Tasks
- Design PCBs for new or existing products in the medical field.
- Provide knowledge and support in different areas related to development.
- Collaborate with the rest of the teams to ensure the integration of the different development activities.
- Ensure a reliable, cost-effective and high-quality design meeting requirements.
- Document designs and comply with established processes.
- Meet delivery deadlines on projects.
Requirements
- Solid knowledge base of digital and analog electronics.
- Creation and management of documentation.
- Experience in selecting components and their alternatives.
- Experience with Pulsonix or Altium. Another EDA tool will be valued.
- Experience in electronic simulation.
- Knowledge of component library management (Symbols and Footprints).
- Experience implementing design rules to ensure reliable, cost-effective, high-quality manufacturing.
- Specific knowledge of signal integrity in digital interfaces (Ethernet, CAN, USB, HDMI, SDR, DDR…).
- Experience in preventive implementation against EMI/EMC and thermal management optimization.
- Design with implementation of isolation in voltages and signals.
- Knowledge of regulatory standards in the medical field, IEC60601.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity applied to hardware.
- Minimum knowledge of 3D modelling, components and PCB.
- Experience in design oriented to the manufacturing process and tests that encompass verification and validation (AOI, AXI, FPT, FCT, BS, etc…)
- Use of instrumentation equipment (oscilloscopes, active/passive current probes, multimeter, power supplies, signal generators…) to perform measurements, validations and design and test reports.
