    Tasks

    • Consult with engineers of other disciplines
    • Consult with Suppliers and support DFM sessions
    • Create supporting documentation for certification
    • Prepare and present material in design reviews

    Requirements

    • University degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering (MSc/M.Eng preferred)
    • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in the aerospace industry
    • Experience in working with the integration of electronic components and their thermal behaviour
    • Understanding of Electro-Magnetics, EMC design aspects, thermal management of electronics components, and position sensing as well as ESD and handling of sensitive electronics components
    • Experience in performing design compatibility/validation, using CAD & FEA for Thermal and Structural Analysis
    • Experience in managing and agreeing interfaces
    • Experience in the validation and verification of designs
    • Knowledge of PDM/PLM systems
    • Fluent English language skills are essential, fluent German or any other language would be beneficial
