Intro
The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced security professional to join their team as the Principal, Regional Security Manager for Sub-Saharan Africa (SSA). This role is responsible for safeguarding the Bank's operations, assets, and personnel across countries in Sub-Saharan Africa. The Regional Security Manager will lead strategic security initiatives, emergency preparedness, office and residential security, movement control, training programs, intelligence and risk analysis, and liaison with local stakeholders.
Tasks
- Develop and implement a comprehensive security operating model for the SSA region
- Design and maintain robust emergency response plans
- Oversee physical and technical security of premises and staff residences
- Ensure compliance with security standards
- Monitor security threats and conduct risk assessments
- Establish and maintain relationships with stakeholders
Requirements
- Proven experience in security services in volatile environments
- Demonstrated leadership skills
- Extensive experience in security and emergency procedures
- Fluency in English, knowledge of French is advantageous
- Experience in delivering training programs
- Recognized security qualification required
