Intro
Mozilla Corporation is seeking a Staff Software Engineer for their Release Engineering team. Tasks
- Help chart the future path of the Release Engineering team
- Write software for building, testing, and releasing software products daily
- Troubleshoot and optimize deployment and infrastructure issues
- Collaborate with geographically-distributed teams
- Provide code review and technical direction
- Mentor team members
- Respond to critical service outages
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in object-oriented programming (preferably Python)
- Published Android and/or iOS applications for 4 years
- Built and maintained CI/CD pipelines for 5 years
- Experience with cloud providers like AWS, GCP, Azure for 3 years
- Experience in reliable and secure deployments
- Comfortable developing in Windows, macOS, and Linux environments
- Pragmatic approach to project management
- Excellent communication skills
- Proven track record of finishing long-term projects
