Lilium, a pioneering company in urban e-mobility, is seeking a Senior Analysis Engineer with expertise in structural stress analysis for engines to join their innovative team in Munich. The role involves working on propulsion and flight controls projects, creating detailed FE models, and supporting test campaigns for certification purposes. The ideal candidate will have a background in aerospace or mechanical engineering, 8+ years of experience in structural analysis, and proficiency in FE code OptiStruct. Fluency in English is required, with German language skills considered beneficial. Tasks
- Perform FE modelling for structural analysis of propulsion structures components
- Correlate model with dynamic test data for certification purposes
- Support test campaigns to validate stress analysis tools and methods
- Create and validate detailed FE models of complete propulsion systems
- Prepare technical reports and documentation
Requirements
- Engineering degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
- 8+ years of professional experience in structural analysis for aerospace engines, turbomachinery, or electric engines
- Experience with OptiStruct and HyperMesh/HyperView
- Knowledge of vibration analysis and aviation vibration standards
- Familiarity with ISO standards and analysis validation methods
- Strong problem-solving skills and self-reliance
- Fluent in English, German or other languages is a plus
