Intro
Octopus Energy Generation is seeking a Regulatory Analyst to join their Governance, Risk and Compliance team. The role involves overseeing regulatory reporting, third-party screening, and monitoring risk controls to ensure compliance with financial regulations and best practices in risk management. The successful candidate will work with internal stakeholders, conduct due diligence on third-party relationships, and analyze data for reporting purposes. Proficiency in Microsoft Power App, Power BI, and Advanced Excel is essential for this role, along with strong analytical and communication skills. The position requires an average of 3 days in the office per week.
Tasks
- Ensure accurate and timely submission of regulatory reports
- Conduct due diligence and screening of third-party relationships
- Develop and implement risk control monitoring and testing plans
- Utilize data analysis tools for reporting
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external parties for compliance
- Stay informed about industry best practices in regulatory compliance
Requirements
- Several years of experience in financial services, preferably in compliance or risk management
- Proficiency in Microsoft Power App, Power BI, and Advanced Excel
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
